These terms govern your use of wellironfilter.com, published by Well Iron Filter. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Information, not advice
The site is general information about iron, sulfur, and manganese treatment for private wells. It is not engineering advice, medical advice, legal advice, or a water-treatment design for your house. We have not tested the products we name. We have not sampled your well. A lab report and a licensed water professional or your health department are the authorities for your water. You alone decide what to buy and what to install.
No professional relationship
Reading this site does not create a client, patient, customer, or advisory relationship. Nothing on the site is advice. Nothing on the site is a recommendation that a particular system is safe or suitable for your well. Product names are examples of equipment people compare. They are not instructions to buy.
You assume the risk
You use the site at your own risk. You are responsible for testing your water, for interpreting your own lab report, and for any purchase, installation, or chemical treatment you choose. If you are unsure, stop and talk to your health department or a licensed water professional before you act.
Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold Well Iron Filter harmless from claims, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of the site, your reliance on it, or your use of the site to advise anyone else.
Safety
An iron, sulfur, or manganese filter does not make microbiologically unsafe water safe. It does not remove coliform bacteria, E. coli, nitrates, arsenic, or lead. If a lab report flags a health contaminant, do not rely on this site or on a stain filter. Follow your health department. The site does not give doses, concentrations, or instructions for shocking a well or handling treatment chemicals.
No warranty
The site is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that any page is complete, current, or fit for a particular well. Manufacturer limits, prices, and product designs change. A page can be wrong. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Well Iron Filter is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, or for personal injury, property damage, or illness arising from your use of the site or from equipment you buy after reading it. Our total liability for a claim about the site is zero, because the site is free to read. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so those limits apply only as far as the law permits.
Links and commissions
The site may link to manufacturers. We may earn a commission if you buy through a link, at no extra cost to you. Commissions are not active yet. Do not scrape the site in a way that degrades it, do not misrepresent a page as your own testing, and do not use the site to give someone else the impression that we designed their treatment system.

Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where the operator of this site is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
